SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1. Read Ephesians 6:18. This passage tells us to pray at "all times." How can we be praying in the spirit at all times? Is this really possible? How can you accomplish this personally? Discuss.

2. Read Luke 11:1-4. This passage suggest a pattern and a way to pray. Discuss the pattern and steps and how you can incorporate it into your daily prayer life and with your family.

3. Read Luke 11:5-10. God doesn't desire to turn us away and reject us. He has all that we need. Can you think of some reasons that He may say no when you ask Him for something in prayer? Does this mean He has rejected us?

4. Read Hebrews 4:16. When we pray, we need to pray confidently and consistently. Discuss a time where you prayed diligently for a while and saw God manifest His promise to you through diligent prayer.

5. Read Luke 11:11-13 & Romans 8:26-27. Have you ever found yourself not knowing what to ask God for in prayer? Praying in the Spirit helps us to pray according to God's will. How do you do this? How did Jesus do it. Discuss as a group.
