SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

1. Read Acts 19:1-2. What is the purpose that you believe that God made you for? Are you in the process of fulfilling that purpose? How do you receive empowerment from the Holy Spirit to fulfill that purpose? Discuss.

2. Read John 14:16-17& Acts 1:8. There are things that we need supernatural power for and that's why God provided the Holy Spirit for us. What are some of those things?

3. Read 1 Corinthians 2:9-12. God reveals things to us that are unknown through the Spirit. Discuss a time when the Holy Spirit gave you an understanding of something that you didn't understand before.

4. Read John 17:20-23 & Acts 2:2-4. Another purpose of the Holy Spirit is to bring unity. Why do you think this is so important? What kind of things will we be able to do in the name of Jesus as we are united?

5. Read 2 Corinthians 13:14. We need God's grace, the love of the Father, and the fellowship. Pray as a group that God will help you to receive all of these gifts offered by our Father.
