SERMON DISCUSS QUESTIONS

1. Read Acts 19:1-2, Acts 1:4-5, & 1 Corinthians 12:1. What are some of the "grace gifts" that the Holy Spirit has given us? List as many of the spiritual gifts as you can. Discuss what the Holy Spirit uses them for.

2. Read 1 Corinthians 12:7 & Romans 12:6-8. What are some of your spiritual gifts, not talents and skills? What can you do to discover some undiscovered gifts that you may have? How does the Holy Spirit empower us to use them?

3. Read 1 Corinthians 12:8, Ephesians 4:11-16, & 2 Timothy 1:6-7. What are some ways that we can develop our spiritual gifts? Discuss as a group.

4. Read 1 Peter 4:10-11 & Luke 11:13. What is the purpose of spiritual gift development? What is the consequence of not using our spiritual gifts or in developing them?
