SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

1. Read Matthew 4:23 & Matthew 5:1. Jesus proclaimed what the Kingdom of God was like. He often sat with his disciples to explain it in detail. How can we as disciples of Christ learn how to live the same way?

2. Read Hebrews 10:15-17. The condition of the heart is what's most important. Take a minute to quietly ask God what are some things within your heart that need cleansing within your heart. Discuss with the group and pray for direction on those things.

3. Read Matthew 5:21-26. Worship without reconciliation is only a religious ritual. Do you have people in your life that you have not reconciled with? How about with God? Discuss.

4. Read Matthew 5:27-42. These passages speak of commandments that Jesus has for our lives. What are some of them that you may have trouble with? How do we give up our right to be right? How can we surrender these things to Him? What is the benefit of that surrender?
