Our desire is to make this shift simple and efficient for you. If you are set up on recurring giving, a member of our team will be reaching out to help walk you through getting switched over. Or if you're ready to get switched over now, below are steps to help you migrate to the Subsplash Giving platform from the Vanco platform. We're prepared to help you each step of the way so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Step One: Let's get you Signed up on Subsplash!

Step Two: Stopping Your Vanco Recurring Giving

Once you have your new account and recurring giving set up with Subsplash, our Finance Coordinator, Tammy, will receive a notification and will go in and stop your Vanco giving for you. In order to avoid duplicate gifts, make sure to check your bank for any pending transactions from Christ Church and schedule your Subsplash automated giving to start after it clears.

What do I do if I give by cash/check?

Thank you for your faithful giving! This switch to the Subsplash platform will not impact the way you currently give to Christ Church. If you would like to begin giving online, you can follow the instructions in step one above to set that up.

I give online manually (not recurring/automated), what do I need to do?

Thank you for your faithful giving! The next time you go to make a contribution, simply follow the instructions listed above in step one to give your one-time gift or to set up recurring giving. 

Is Subsplash Giving Secure?

Yes! Security is the top priority for us as well as for our new giving platform. Subsplash Giving is PCI compliant and protected by industry-standard encryption, so you can rest assured that your data is protected. 

Why are we switching?

Making this transition will provide a better end-user experience both for our team and for the congregation. Now our website, app, and giving platform will all be within Subsplash. This increases our effectiveness and makes cost and user interaction more streamlined. Subsplash also offers lower processing fees so it will save the church money each and every year.   

What is the "cover processing fee" checkbox?

Subsplash Giving gives you the option to pay the processing fees that the church would otherwise incur. With the click of a button, your can now opt-in to increase the size of your gift to cover these processing fees if you choose. It's totally up to you whether or not you'd like to cover these fees with your gift! If you do, the entire amount will be reflected as tax-deductible and show up on your giving statements. 

How will I get my Giving statement for taxes?

Our finance coordinator Tammy will still be sending you your giving statement and next year will reflect both your giving through Vanco and your giving through Subsplash so nothing will get missed.

How do I set up recurring gifts to benevolence, The Greatest Gift, and Ministry Partners?

After you select the amount, frequency, and start date of your gift and log in to your account, you'll be taken to a page to review your gift information. Near the top there is a drop-down titled "Fund". Click the drop down to change the fund you are giving your contribution to. Only one fund can be selected per transaction. After completing your gift, click "Make Another Gift" and go through this same process for each fund you are wanting to set up one-time or recurring gifts for.

 How can I set my recurring gift to come out twice a month on specific dates?

Let's say you get paid on the 1st and again on the 15th and you want to set your recurring gift to come out on those dates (but not simply biweekly). You can do this by selecting the "twice a month" frequency option. This will allow you to choose a starting date for the first gift and then will process the second gift 14 days later that same month. So if you want the 1st and the 15th, set your gift to start on the 1st and your second gift will automatically draft 14 days later on the 15th. If the first gift start date is set within 14 days of the end of the month though, the second gift processing date will be set to run 14 days prior each month (so if you up a gift on the 24th, the twice a month gifts will run on the 10th and 24th of each month).  

How do I change the settings on a recurring gift I have already scheduled?

To change the amount, frequency, start date, fund, or payment method for a gift you have set up previously, navigate to your giving profile (person icon in the top right of the giving page). From your profile you will click on recurring gifts, then select the gift you wish to edit. This takes you to a page where you can edit the gift settings and save it.
